Hill's PRESCRIPTION DIET c/d Multicare Stress cat food with chicken is a complete, dietary pet food for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence (causing feline lower urinary tract disease, FLUTD), for the dissolution of struvite stones, and for the reduction of oxalate stone formation in adult cats. This food has properties that promote urine supersaturation, which reduces the formation of struvite stones, has urine alkalinizing properties, and contains low levels of magnesium, calcium, and vitamin D. DOSAGE: Feed only this food. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use. Feed the amount indicated on the packaging according to the cat's weight. Then adjust it to the animal's needs to maintain optimal body weight; the daily amount can be divided into 2+ meals per day. Recommended duration of use: for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence: initially up to 6 months; for the dissolution of struvite stones: from 5-12 weeks; for the reduction of oxalate stone formation: up to 6 months. Fresh drinking water should always be available.
