Hill's PRESCRIPTION DIET k/d dog food is a complete, dietary food that promotes kidney function in adult dogs with chronic or acute kidney failure. This food has a low phosphorus level and a restricted protein level, but they are of high quality. Dosage: Feed only this food. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use and before extending the duration of use. Feed the amount indicated on the package according to the dog's weight. Then adjust it to the animal's needs to maintain optimal body weight; the daily dose can be divided into 2+ meals per day. Recommended duration of use: initially up to 6 months (2 to 4 weeks in case of temporary kidney failure). Fresh drinking water should always be available.
