Benzoic shampoo - Veterinary Dermocosmetic - Cosmetic shampoo for animals with oily skin and coat. Ingredients: water, cocoamidopropyl betaine, sodium lauryl sulfoacetate, glycerin, PEG-90 glycerol isostearate, decyl glucoside, benzoyl peroxide, dimethyl isosorbide, xanthan gum, laureth-2 panthenol, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, citric acid, styrene/VP copolymer. Action: Contains benzoyl peroxide with anti-seborrheic and antibacterial action. Panthenol accelerates regeneration and healing of skin damage. Glycerin lubricates the skin and slows down its drying. Benzoic shampoo has a narrower spectrum of use, as it penetrates very deeply into the skin and has a very strong drying effect, therefore it is indicated for use in cases of demodicosis and folliculitis, as well as deep pyoderma, when the goal is to dry the skin and flush out parasites or pus from hair follicles. It is very effective in cases of demodicosis and deep inflammation, but as a side effect, dry skin is observed, sometimes inflammation, so additional skin moisturizing may be necessary after use. In cases of demodicosis, usually one to two washes are sufficient to reduce the number of parasites and clinical signs, however, to completely eliminate the parasites, appropriate therapy must be used. Usage: Wet the coat with warm water, apply an appropriate amount of shampoo, lather and wash gently massaging for about 5 minutes. Protect eyes and ears. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.
