CDD Food Allergy Management
- Food allergy or intolerance, which usually results in skin and gastrointestinal problems;
- Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI);
- Gastrointestinal disorders such as vomiting, diarrhea, and flatulence;
- Malabsorption syndrome (malabsorption/maldigestion);
- Urate urolithiasis.
The food contains few different components; the base consists of eggs and rice. Both of these components have low allergenicity, making them ideal for producing hypoallergenic food.
Thanks to very high-quality and easily assimilable components, the food is particularly well-suited for patients with small intestine inflammation.
Psyllium (plantago ovata seeds) – these are soluble fibers that also have gelling properties, absorbing liquid in volumes many times greater than their weight. Psyllium is known for its positive effect on the regulation of gastrointestinal function.
Purine – it is a precursor of urate crystals. Due to its microscopic purine content, reduced protein content, and induced urine pH, CDD food is an excellent choice for the prevention of urate crystal formation.
