Easily digestible components compensate for low digestive enzyme activity and ensure optimal nutrient absorption in the body. Therefore, the food is well-suited for patients with gastrointestinal problems such as chronic diarrhea, vomiting, and/or flatulence.
The food has a high content of minerals and fat-soluble vitamins, which compensate for absorption capacity disorders in the digestive tract. The increased electrolyte content compensates for significant losses due to diarrhea and vomiting.
The food contains yeast ß-1,3/1,6-glucans, which have the ability to bind to white blood cell receptors, thereby stimulating the immune system and the formation of immune responses. Additionally, the food contains mannanoligosaccharides (MOS), which bind pathogenic bacteria, preventing their attachment to the intestinal walls. MOS also helps maintain local immunity in the digestive tract.
Psyllium (plantago ovata seeds) – these are soluble fibers that also have gelling properties, absorbing liquid in volumes many times greater than their weight. Psyllium is known for its positive effect on regulating digestive tract function and protecting the intestinal mucosa.
Yucca extract reduces the formation of smelly gases and decreases the odor of feces.
