Trovet Urinary Struvite (Chicken) / ASD - Dietary food for adult cats prone to struvite urinary stones. Urine pH 6.0 - 6.4 helps reduce the formation of new struvite urinary stones and dissolves already formed struvite crystalline formations. Reduced Mg (magnesium) content decreases the formation of uroliths. Optimal Na (sodium) level ensures sufficient urine volume without causing kidney function disturbances. Packaging: Dry food: 500g, 3kg, 10kg. Canned food: 85g, 175g. Indications: struvite-induced urolithiasis, recurrent struvite formation. Additional information: Maintains urine pH that neutralizes the adverse environmental reaction caused by urinary tract infections and inflammatory products formed in the process. The reduced potassium content helps maintain low urine pH. The magnesium level is low enough to avoid the risk of hypomagnesemia over a longer period. Limits the intake of protein and mineral components that promote struvite formation. Contraindications: Kittens, pregnant and lactating queens. Cats currently receiving urine acidifiers. Cats with other types of urinary stones.
