Dermatosis Duck & Rice is a complete and balanced dietetic food for adult cats (from one year of age) to promote skin function in cases of dermatosis and excessive hair loss. It is also recommended to reduce ingredient and nutrient intolerances. The main selected animal protein source in the diet recipe is duck (dried duck and freshly cooked duck), and the main selected carbohydrate sources are white and brown rice. The recipe contains a high amount of linoleic acid (LA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Additionally, the formula is enriched with chicory (a natural source of inulin), which helps support digestion and balance the gastrointestinal microbiome. Feeding instructions: The food meets the daily nutritional requirements for adult cats. Initial doses are indicated in the table on the packaging. If nutritional needs are higher, the daily dose should be increased individually. Transitioning to a new food should be done gradually, mixing it with the previous food over approximately two weeks. It is advisable to consult a veterinarian before use or before extending the duration of use. Recommended duration of use: to promote skin function in cases of dermatosis and excessive hair loss initially for 2 months, and to reduce ingredient and nutrient intolerances from 3 to 8 weeks. If signs of intolerance disappear, this food can initially be used for up to one year. Fresh drinking water should always be available.
