Coated tablets for cats. Active ingredients: Pyrantel embonate; praziquantel. Indications: treatment of mixed infestations caused in cats by the following roundworms and tapeworms: - roundworms in adult stages: - Toxocara cati (syn. mystax); - hookworms in adult stages: - Ancylostoma tubaeforme, - Ancylostoma braziliense; - tapeworms: - Echinococcus multilocularis, - Dipylidium caninum, - Hydatigera (Taenia) taeniaeformis, - Mesocestoides spp., - Joyeuxiella pasqualei. Tapeworm infestation in cats occurs no earlier than the third week of life, therefore treatment with Drontal is not applicable to cats younger than 3 weeks. Over-the-counter veterinary medicine.
