FERROLOXAN N60

This is specifically intended for:

" animals at increased risk of iron deficiency (during growth, pregnancy, lactation);

" animals with symptoms of anemia;

" situations where there is a risk of iron deficiency anemia.

Composition: microcrystalline cellulose – filler, starch – thickener; iron bisglycinate, cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12); silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate – anti-caking agent; pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), pteroylmonoglutamic acid (folates).

Description of ingredients: Iron bisglycinate is biologically available for the synthesis of oxygen carriers (hemoglobin and myoglobin) in the body. Additionally, iron is a component of enzymes involved in cellular respiration processes. Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) is an enzyme cofactor involved in the synthesis of the hemoglobin component (heme). It has strong antioxidant properties and inhibits the peroxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids. Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is an enzyme coenzyme involved in the metabolism of methyl groups. Cobalamin participates in the maturation process of red and white blood cells, as well as in the synthesis of hemoglobin. Furthermore, cobalamin, as a coenzyme, is involved in the metabolism of folic acid. Folic acid is a cofactor for enzymes involved in the metabolism of homocysteine, and it reduces the concentration of homocysteine in the blood. Elevated levels of homocysteine in the blood contribute to vascular damage and increase lipid peroxidation processes.

Usage: The recommended daily dose of Ferroloxan depends on the body weight of the animal. Unless otherwise advised by a veterinarian, follow the recommended daily dose.
