Supplement for phosphorus binding and kidney health maintenance in cats.
Innovative composition: lanthanum carbonate, Lespedeza capitata extract, and chitosan in appropriate proportions. The flavonoids present in Lespedeza capitata extract are angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors – they promote the regeneration of kidney cells, increase diuresis, reduce blood urea concentration, without disrupting electrolyte balance. Lanthanum carbonate and chitosan inhibit phosphorus absorption in the gastrointestinal tract.
Composition: starch, Lespedeza capitata extract, magnesium stearate, chitosan, silicon dioxide. Technological additives: microcrystalline cellulose, methylcellulose (coating), citric acid.
Zootechnical additives: lanthanum carbonate octahydrate (150 mg/capsule).
Analytical composition: crude protein 1.7%, crude fiber 56.5%, crude fat 4.2%, crude ash 13.6%, magnesium 0.2%, starch 12.5%.
Usage: recommended dosage, based on the animal's weight, to be given with food: 1 capsule for every 5 kg.
It is advisable to consult a veterinarian before use. If necessary, the capsule can be opened and mixed with food. Dry food should be lightly moistened to ensure adherence of the capsule contents and complete intake.
