Support for kidney function in cases of chronic kidney failure and reduction of oxalate formation. Kattovit Feline Diet – KIDNEY/RENAL is specially formulated to provide cats with reduced protein content, using high-quality proteins in an easily digestible composition. High protein levels can negatively affect the kidneys. The crucial factor is the protein content in relation to the amount of energy. Kattovit KIDNEY/RENAL, unlike regular foods, obtains only about half of its energy from proteins. The addition of potassium citrate has an alkalizing effect on urine, which can prevent the formation of oxalate crystals (oxalate prevention). The levels of phosphorus and sodium are reduced.
