• Increased sodium content encourages the dog to drink more. This reduces the concentration of minerals in the urine and increases urination frequency.
• It is recommended to divide the daily norm of SPECIFIC™ CCD Struvite Management into 3-4 feeding times, which reduces the postprandial (after eating) increase in urine pH.
• Struvite urolithiasis is most often associated with urinary tract infections. In such cases, SPECIFIC™ CCD Struvite Management will be effective only if the infection itself is also treated simultaneously.
• Struvite urolithiasis is just one of the various types of urolithiasis found in dogs.
