Hill's PRESCRIPTION DIET c/d Multicare dog food with chicken is a complete, dietary pet food designed to reduce the recurrence of struvite stones, dissolve struvite stones, and minimize the formation of oxalate stones in adult dogs. This food has properties that promote urine unsaturation, which reduces the formation of struvite stones, has urine alkalinizing properties, and is low in magnesium, calcium, and vitamin D content. INGREDIENTS: grains, meat and animal by-products (chicken 8%), oils and fats, plant extracts, seeds, minerals, plant by-products. Urine alkalinizing substances: potassium citrate: 4g/kg, calcium carbonate 1.5g/kg. ANALYTICAL COMPONENTS: crude protein 20.0%, crude fat 15.3%, crude fiber 1.8%, omega-3 0.7%, chlorides 0.57%, sulfur 0.42%, hydroxyproline 0.15%, crude ash 4.4%, calcium 0.61%, phosphorus 0.48%, sodium 0.22%, potassium 0.70%, magnesium 0.09%. Technological additives: antioxidants. DOSAGE: Feed only with this food. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use. Feed the amount indicated on the packaging according to the dog's weight. Then adjust it to the animal's needs to maintain optimal body weight; the daily dose can be divided into two or more meals per day. Recommended duration of use: for dissolving struvite stones - from 5 to 12 weeks, for reducing stone recurrence/oxalate formation - initially up to 6 months.
