Hill's PRESCRIPTION DIET c/d Multicare dog food with chicken is a complete, dietary pet food designed to reduce the recurrence of struvite stones, dissolve struvite stones, and reduce the formation of oxalate stones in adult dogs. This food has properties that promote urine unsaturation, which reduces the formation of struvite stones, has urine alkalinizing properties, and is low in magnesium, calcium, and vitamin D. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use. Feed the amount indicated on the packaging according to the dog's weight. Then adjust it to the animal's needs to maintain optimal body weight; the daily dose can be divided into two or more meals per day. Recommended duration of use: to reduce the likelihood of struvite stone recurrence: up to 6 months; to dissolve struvite stones: 5-12 weeks. Fresh drinking water should always be available.
